Sadie Amara Calvano has become popular for her role as Violet Plunkett that she played on the CBS sitcom Mom. Calvano born in California had a first interest in competing gymnastics. However, she later decided to pursue an acting career. In 2010 she was first seen on screen in an episode from the CBS series 'NCIS.' One year later, her first big-screen appearance was in the biographical thriller movie J Edgar. In the ensuing years, she has established herself as one of the most promising young actors within the field today. In the 'NCIS' series, her performance' was nominated by the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance in a Television Series with an Guest Actress between 11-15 years old.
